Embrapa Goats and Sheep

This research unit consists of 28 researchers who are dedicated in their search for solutions for more efficient tropical sheep and goat production systems -animals of great economic and social importance in the Northeast region.

With 8 laboratories and an educational plant for dairy production, the unit provides access to technologies which enable the multiplication of genetically superior animals This is also available to small producers and contribute to the management of the Caatinga ecosystem.
